Enjoy a fine dining experience at Strawberry Hill

You are invited to enjoy supper with the stars, luminaries and leading lights in Horace Walpole’s magnificent 18th century ‘Gothic castle’. Join The Dining Club at Strawberry Hill for an extraordinary dining experience in a truly unique and intriguing setting.

Launched in October 2013, The Dining Club offers members the opportunity to attend up to four annual dining experiences in the historic rooms of the House. Speakers, including Lord Julian Fellowes, creator of Downton Abbey; The Antique Roadshow’s Lars Tharp; and Hugh Johnson, celebrated wine expert, have entertained and delighted guests in the glorious Gallery. 

These evenings include prosecco reception, three course dinner, and an after-dinner talk from a notable guest speaker, unless stated.

The Dining Club evenings feature distinguished speakers and the dates are:-

  • Thursday 11th February 2016
    speaker: Sir Christopher Frayling, celebrated British educationalist
  • Thursday 21st April 2016
    Rothschild Old and New: The Rothschild Collection fine wine comparison evening, with complementary light bites.
  • Wednesday 29th June 2016
    speaker: Ian McCulloch, Founding Director of Silent Pool Distillers
  • Thursday 6th October 2016
    speaker: Charles Saumarez Smith, Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Arts

Annual membership to The Dining Club is £125 and your Membership Card allows you to:

  • - access up to four dining experiences with guest speaker each year
  • - 10% off at The Cloister Café
  • - discounts off selected Rothschild Collection wine
  • - 10% off in The Strawberry Hill Shop
  • - and one private view per year.

Evenings are £75pp, including meal, wine and speaker. The Rothschild Collection tasting is £55pp.
